Het weekend was heel gevarieerd, met een goede mix van yoga, ontspanning en behandelingen. Je lessen zijn net als jij: dynamisch maar ook spiritueel. Voor mij was het alleen maar genieten met al mijn zintuigen. Heerlijk eten, fijne yogalessen, lieve mensen en een inspirerende omgeving en goede sfeer!
ps: de soundhealing was fantastisch!!!

Een heel inspirerend, helend, warm weekend. Je enthousiasme straalt overal vanaf en ik vind het met name zo aantrekkelijk omdat je het heel gevarieerd hebt opgezet. Amazing Experience!

Sinds een paar maanden volg ik yoga lessen bij Mireille. Ik kan tijdens haar lessen dagelijkse dingen loslaten, en ga er helemaal in op. De relaxte muziek, haar rustgevende stem, de vloeiende bewegingen, en na afloop heerlijk onder een dekentje voor de meditatie, heel fijn! Echt een uurtje voor mezelf, om op te laden. Ik kom altijd helemaal relaxed thuis.

Voordat ik yoga deed had ik vaak rugklachten, ik merk dat yoga echt helpt om ervan af te komen. Ook slaap ik beter, en voel me soepeler. Ik ben zo enthousiast door Mireille haar lessen, dat ik ook thuis yoga oefeningen ga doen, om de positieve effecten nog meer te vergroten.

Kortom; fijn dat Mireille haar passie voor yoga overdraagt!

Since a few months I follow yoga classes at Mireille. I can let go of daily activities during her lessons, and completely be present in the moment. The relaxed music, her soothing voice, the flowing movements, and at the end under a blanket for the meditation, lovely! Truly an hour for myself, to recharge. I always come home completely relaxed.

Before I did yoga, I often had back problems, I find that yoga really helps to get rid of it. I also sleep better and feel more flexible. I am so excited by Mireille her lessons, that I started yoga exercises at home to enhance the positive effects.

In short, I am grateful that Mireille transfers her passion for yoga!

Al 12 jaar volg ik yoga op verschillende adressen. Sinds kort volg ik ook lessen bij Mireille.

Opvallend bij een les van Mireille is haar persoonlijke insteek. Yoga is voor jezelf en voor je lijf. Dat wil Mireille je meegeven. Iedereen is anders, en iedereen volgt op zijn niveau. Je hoeft niks te forceren en de lessen zijn zo opgebouwd dat je niet meteen in een kramp schiet. Mireille let goed op de ademhaling tijdens de oefeningen. Dat is fijn omdat je daar dan niet over hoeft na te denken en bovendien is het effect van de les beter. Immers, juist het werk met de ademhaling maakt het verschil tussen gymnastiek en yoga. De muziek tijdens de lessen passen bij de oefeningen. Het helpt je afstand te nemen van de dingen van de dag.

De les neemt je mee en maakt je letterlijk en figuurlijk los van alles. Na afloop een lekker kopje thee, en je voelt je evenwichtiger, soepeler, rustiger en je hebt meer energie. Wie wil dat nou niet?

For 12 years I have been practising yoga at different addresses. Recently I also follow the lessons of Mireille.

The most markable of the classes of Mireille is her personal touch. Yoga is for yourself and your body. That’s the message she wants to teach. Everyone is different, and everyone follows his own level. You do not have to force into anything and the lessons are designed for all levels. Mireille pays a lot of attention to correct breathing during the exercises. That’s very comfortable because you do not have to think about it yourself. A good breathing makes the effect of the lesson better. After all, the breath makes the difference between gymnastics and yoga. The music during the lessons fits perfectly to the exercises. It helps you to take of the things of the day.

The lesson makes you literally detached from everything. After a nice cup of tea, you feel more balanced, smoother, quieter and with more energy. Who would not want that?

Stiekem dacht ik dat yoga een beetje duf en zweverig was. En goed voor je spieren. Vooral om die laatste reden ben ik de lessen van Mireille maar eens gaan proberen. En wat blijkt: yoga is hartstikke leuk! Dat komt volgens mij voor een heel belangrijk deel door juf Mireille. Ze past de les, zowel qua tempo als qua oefeningen, helemaal aan aan de leerlingen – en hun stemming. De opbouw per les is prima: eerst rustig, maar daarna steviger. Uiteindelijk komen al je spieren aan bod (ook degene waarvan je niet eens wist dat je ze had). Na afloop heb je dus wel degelijk het idee dat je echt iets hebt gedaan! Navel staren is er niet bij bij Mireille. Het optimaliseren van je energiestromen wel. Ook de muziek helpt daarbij – energiek en ontspannend. Aan het eind van de les mag je dan toch nog even zweven – ontspannend onder een dekentje. Heerlijk! Een aanrader dus.

I thought yoga was a bit stuffy and woolly. But good for your muscles. Especially for this reason, I thought: let’s give it a try. I started following the lessons of Mireille. And guess what: Yoga is great fun! This is in my view especially because of the way Mireille teaches. She fits the lesson, both the pace and exercises, to the students – and their mood. The lessons are build up just fine: first quiet, but then firmer. Eventually all your muscles will be trained (even those you did not even know you had them). After the class you have the idea that you really have done something! Navel gazing is not the case with Mireille. But you do optimize your energy flow. The music helps with that – energetic and relaxing. At the end of the lesson you can still just float – relaxing under a blanket. Delicious! Highly recommended.

Afgelopen weekend heb ik een heerlijke yoga les gevolgd bij Bodhi yoga! De oefeningen waren rustgevend, maar zeker ook voldoende intensief. Je kon op eigen niveau de asana’s uitoefenen en werd goed begeleid door Mireille, die ook een stukje theorie aan de les toevoegde. Haar stem en de muziek zijn fijn, ook aan het einde tijdens de meditatie. Naderhand ervoer ik het prettige gevoel van rust na een geleverde inspanning in mijn lijf; ik heb weer zin gekregen om vaker yoga te doen 🙂

Last weekend I had a wonderful yoga class at Bodhi Yoga! The exercises were relaxing, but also sufficiently intensive. You could do the asanas at your own level and it was well accompanied by Mireille, who also added a little bit of theory to the lesson. Her voice and music are fine, also at the end during meditation. Afterwards I experienced the pleasant feeling of calmness after a good exercise.  I feel like doing yoga more often again 🙂

It’s a loose, laughter-filled, clean and good-vibed place to learn/improve your yoga. Mireille is highly aware of the exercises being correctly done and she creates a good briefing in exercises. There were clearly beginners and advanced students but her approach is that no-one is in competition and that we should just enjoy for ourselves in the moment. I learnt new postures and breathing techniques. I would totally recommend anyone to attend. …and the use of yoga mats is included in the price, pretty uncommon and convenient.
